Reflection We live in a world that runs on visibility. We share what we eat, where we go, what we accomplish — and somewhere along the way, that habit can quietly creep into our faith. We start measuring our spiritual life by what others can see: the prayers we say out loud, the causes we post about, the church events we attend.

But Jesus flips that entirely. In Matthew 6, he introduces something countercultural and beautiful: the secret place. He tells his followers that the most meaningful parts of their walk with God — giving, praying, fasting — aren't meant for an audience. They're meant for an audience of one.
